Parent Coaching

Parenting an ADHD child can feel exhausting, confusing, and overwhelming (even when you’re trying your best). Maybe you’ve read the books, joined the groups, and still feel stuck. Maybe you’re juggling school challenges, meltdowns, routines, and your own frustration…sometimes feeling like you have no time for yourself in the process.

It’s also common to:

  • feel misunderstood or judged (by others and yourself),

  • get overstimulated or shut down (especially if you have ADHD too),

  • want less arguing and more connection,

  • desperately want to support your child’s strengths, but not know where to start.

I know these experiences firsthand. As a parent of two ADHD children, a social worker, and someone with ADHD myself, I’ve spent years learning how ADHD brains work. It was when I began suspecting my oldest child had ADHD that I thought, “I know about ADHD, but I don’t know how to parent it.” That moment led me into a deep dive, and a wake up call about how little I actually understood at the time.

Many years later, I’ve dedicated my work to helping parents and adults build a comprehensive, practical understanding of ADHD, and to showing why doing things differently: in ways that align with how ADHD brains work, is not optional, but essential.

When we shift from “Why won’t they just listen?” to “I wonder what might be happening for them right now?”, we can begin adapting our approach in ways that actually reduce yelling, frustration, negotiation, and guilt.

My approach is grounded in:

  • age-appropriate expectations informed by child development research

  • a connection-based parenting framework

  • a neurodiversity-affirming perspective

  • curiosity about the messages we’ve received about parenting

  • finding strategies that work for your family

  • exploring competing needs and real-life constraints

Parenting an ADHD child isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing things differently, with support that actually fits your family. Parent coaching offers a space to slow down, get curious, and figure out next steps together. The options below are designed to meet you where you are.

Pricing & Packages

As Needed Session

50 minutes | $150

Best for parents who want occasional support or a one-time consultation.

This option is ideal if you have a specific question, challenge, or decision point you’d like help thinking through. We’ll use our time to focus on what’s coming up right now…whether that’s behavior concerns, school challenges, accommodations, or understanding a recent evaluation.

This is a good fit if you’re not looking for ongoing coaching, but want thoughtful, ADHD-informed guidance when something feels stuck or confusing.

Starter Package

4 sessions | 50 minutes each | $550

Best for parents who already have some ADHD knowledge and want help refining strategies and problem-solving specific challenges.

This package works well if you’ve done some reading, attended trainings, or worked with providers before, and now want space to talk through how to actually apply strategies in real life. Sessions might include:

  • Talking through specific parenting challenges

  • Adjusting strategies that aren’t working as expected

  • Planning next steps and troubleshooting barriers

  • Checking in after trying something new

Many parents use this package as a focused consultative burst, with time to implement strategies between sessions and then come back to reflect and adjust.

Essential Package

8 sessions | 50 minutes each | $1047

Best for parents who are new to understanding ADHD or want ongoing, structured support.

This package is designed for parents who want to build a solid foundation of ADHD understanding while having regular space to reflect, set goals, and adjust strategies over time. Sessions combine education with practical coaching so you’re not just learning about ADHD, but actively applying what fits your family.

Sessions may include:

  • ADHD education tailored to your child and family

  • Understanding executive functioning and nervous system needs

  • Setting realistic goals and expectations

  • Checking in on progress and adjusting strategies as needed

This option works well if you’re looking for consistency, guidance, and support over time rather than one-off problem solving.
