Bobbi-Jo has 17+ years of clinical experience working in private practice, college mental health center and substance use treatment settings, primarily working with adult populations. Learn how to incorporate the Inner Equilibrium Audit into your practice to support clients with executive functioning skills such as time estimation and management, prioritization, planning, and task initiation. Created by the presenter, this innovative, neurodiversity-affirming digital workbook guides clients through a three-phase process: data collection, reflection, and planning to help them build self-awareness around their relationship with tasks across both work and personal life. Training participants will explore all phases of the workbook and discuss how this tool can supplement their work with ADHDers and other neurodivergent clients, supporting them in moving toward greater balance in daily life. Participants will receive access to the Inner Equilibrium Audit tool with professional use rights.

Restless Minds, Restless Nights: Untangling ADHD & Sleep

Training Description:
This training introduces clinicians to the Rooted Regulation: ADHD Nervous System Toolkit and guides you from a foundational understanding of polyvagal theory to a more advanced perspective that integrates common ADHD nervous system patterns through a polyvagal lens.

You’ll learn why a polyvagal-informed approach is essential when working with ADHD clients and gain practical strategies for integrating this perspective alongside other therapeutic interventions.

Participants will receive professional use rights to the Rooted Regulation Toolkit, which features:

  • Original psychoeducational graphics illustrating ADHD-related nervous system patterns

  • Clear explanations to support client understanding

  • Reflective worksheets to help personalize insights

The digital toolkit can be printed or used virtually, making it a versatile resource for psychoeducation in both in-person and telehealth settings. A Deep Dive into Adult ADHD: A Neurodiversity-Affirming Approach For Mental Health Professionals

A Deep Dive into Adult ADHD explores the adult ADHD experience beyond the diagnostic criteria. The training is informed by current research, years of clinical experience working with adults with ADHD and lived experience. Varying presentations of ADHD and the intersections of ADHD with other identities will be presented.

Executive functioning differences are at the core of most of presenting concerns that adults with ADHD bring to therapy. Each executive functioning skill will be explained and participants will explore the real life impacts of challenges of each executive functioning skill, along with strategies to support clients with executive functioning challenges. Participants review the "Guidelines for Therapy with Adult ADHD" as identified by Bobbi-Jo. All training participants receive access to several bonus resources to help support their learning. The on demand version of this training is a recording of previously provided live Zoom training.

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD): Clinical Insights & Support Strategies

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is an intense emotional response to perceived rejection or criticism, commonly experienced by individuals with ADHD. While not an official diagnosis, it’s a term often used by clients and clinicians to describe a very real experience. In this 1 hr 15 min training, we’ll explore what RSD is, how it presents, and how to differentiate it from anxiety and mood disorders. We’ll also examine its impact on functioning and relationships, and outline a neurodiversity-affirming clinical approach for supporting clients who navigate this form of emotional sensitivity.

  • Downloadable RSD Info Sheet that may be shared with clients

PMDD: A Guide for Mental Health Providers

Learn all about Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and how to confidently identify PMDD in your menstruating clients. This training provides an in-depth exploration of the diagnostic criteria, diagnostic process, and how to differentiate PMDD from other mental health diagnoses and hormonal transition periods such as puberty and perimenopause.

We’ll examine the frequent co-occurrence of PMDD with ADHD and Autism and explore key intersections that impact client experiences. The training also highlights the unique considerations for trans men and nonbinary individuals, as well as the intersections of race and cultural context in understanding PMDD.

After reviewing clinical implications, we’ll discuss both medical and alternative treatment options and introduce a therapeutic framework for supporting clients through intense, cycle-related mood shifts. Additionally, we’ll cover strategies to support clients in communicating with loved ones about PMDD, equipping them with language and resources to advocate for their needs.

This 1 hour 40 minute training is presented by a clinician with lived experience of both PMDD and ADHD and is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming approach.
