Bobbi-Jo Molokken, LISW, CCTP (She/her) is a psychotherapist licensed in Iowa as well as Founder/ADHD Coach & Educator with Embrace the Muchness LLC. Bobbi-Jo has 17+ years of clinical experience working in private practice, college mental health center and substance use treatment settings, primarily working with adult populations. She provides training for fellow mental health professionals and community members on the following topics:

I am currently offering a series of monthly, live, virtual trainings as part of my Digging Deeper: ADHD-Focused Consultation & Learning Collective. This series will be recorded and available for purchase on demand. No CE’s will be offered for this series.

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD): Clinical Insights & Support Strategies - August 1st

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is an intense emotional response to perceived rejection or criticism, commonly experienced by individuals with ADHD. While not an official diagnosis, it’s a term often used by clients and clinicians to describe a very real experience. In this 1-hour training, we’ll explore what RSD is, how it presents, and how to differentiate it from anxiety and mood disorders. We’ll also examine its impact on functioning and relationships, and outline a neurodiversity-affirming clinical approach for supporting clients who navigate this form of emotional sensitivity.

PMDD: A Guide for Mental Health Providers – September 5th

Understand the overlap between PMDD, ADHD, and Autism. Learn how to identify PMDD in your menstruating ADHD and autistic clients, differentiate it from other diagnoses, and apply therapeutic interventions to support clients through cycle-related mood shifts.

The Inner Equilibrium Audit – October 3rd

Learn how to use the innovative Inner Equilibrium Audit tool to help clients build awareness of how they engage with daily tasks across home, work, education, and parenting. This training will support clinicians in guiding clients toward greater balance and time management strategies that align with their natural rhythms. Participants will receive access to the Inner Equilibrium Audit tool with professional use rights for use in their client work.

Restless Minds, Restless Nights: Untangling ADHD & Sleep – November 7th

Examine the complex relationship between sleep and ADHD. Learn about common sleep challenges experienced by ADHDers and explore what you may need to unlearn about traditional sleep hygiene approaches. This training will focus on developing a flexible approach to supporting ADHDers around sleep.

Rooted Regulation: Understanding the ADHD Nervous System –

December 5th - *2 Hour Training

Gain a deeper understanding of polyvagal theory and explore common nervous system patterns in individuals with ADHD. Learn why a polyvagal-informed approach is essential when working with ADHD clients and how to integrate it alongside other therapeutic modalities. Participants will receive professional use rights to the Rooted Regulation: ADHD Nervous System Toolkit, which includes visual graphics, clear explanations of nervous system states, and reflective activities to help clients better understand their unique regulation patterns.


A Deep Dive into Adult ADHD: A Neurodiversity-Affirming Approach For Mental Health Professionals

A Deep Dive into Adult ADHD explores the adult ADHD experience beyond the diagnostic criteria. The training is informed by current research, years of clinical experience working with adults with ADHD and lived experience. Varying presentations of ADHD and the intersections of ADHD with other identities will be presented.

Executive functioning differences are at the core of most of presenting concerns that adults with ADHD bring to therapy. Each executive functioning skill will be explained and participants will explore the real life impacts of challenges of each executive functioning skill, along with strategies to support clients with executive functioning challenges. Participants review the "Guidelines for Therapy with Adult ADHD" as identified by Bobbi-Jo. All training participants receive access to several bonus resources to help support their learning. The on demand version of this training is a recording of previously provided live Zoom training.
